My name is Candy Stoneman and my passion is being around and caring for animals. I grew up on a small farm, "Pine Ridge" in Doswell, VA where we raised, broke and trained animals - dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, horses, mice, hamsters and turtles. My play ground was a dairy and horse farm. I knew "Riva Ridge" and "Secretariat" personally and spent a lot of time with them both. I herded cattle, broke horses and rode bulls. The locals referred to me as Dale Evans, Evil Knieval, and Doctor Doolittle.

I performed stunts with horses and motorcycles and brought home any sick or injured animal that I found to patch up and release back to their home. People then and today say I have a way of communicating with animals. I earned my living following in my father's footsteps, who owned a cleaning a mitigation franchise. Over the past 34 years I earned several certifications, some of which include certs for subrogation, fire, smoke, water, mold, infared cameras and estimating.

Today I am living my childhood dream and carrying on my homesteading name of Pine Ridge Farm in Goochland County. Here, I have gone back to my ancestors roots and am living off the land like they did in Varina and Columbia for hundreds of years. When I am not at home, I am out caring for all kinds and types of animals, especially rescued ones. I make sure they have food, water, exercise and a nice clean place to lie down. I board animals, do stay-overs or day visits. I still work in the fire, water and mold field performing inspections, dry downs and cleaning; the cleaning consists of rental property, apartments and horders.
